  They just want your money! A terrible place to take your pet too! My dog had to be put down. They told me I needed to come and sign some paper work and I could pick up the dogs remains. When I got there they said that I couldn't have the dogs remains until I pay the total of the Bill. I couldn't afford to pay it. 6 months went by then they finally said that I could come get my dogs remains because it was taking up room in there freezer and that my Bill was being sent to collections. They act like there compasionet , send you a card saying "were sorry for your loss " but you owe us some money! There not sorry at all. They just want your money!

  Visiting Maui from Louisville, KY. On our drive to Hana, we found a dog that was starving to death. You could count every rib and see every bone. We rescued the dog and drove 3 hours to central Maui to find help. At this point at 6:30 pm, the Maui Humane Society was closed. Rather than leave the dog in an overnight kennel without food, we sought out a veterinary clinic that was open 24 hours, hoping to get medical attention immediately, and then take to the Humane Society. When we walked in, there was absolutely no empathy or compassion whatsoever from the staff. There was no "thank you so much for rescuing this dog while on your vacation and bypassing the Road to Hana to get medical attention." There was no help whatsoever. Instead, we were told that the emergency clinic portion of the office opened at 7:00, and we would need to pay $112 for an office visit. Look people, we were willing to pay for emergency care, but you couldn't even offer to bring the dog in for services and offer a reduced "normal" rate at 6:30. Jesus. You people have no heart - kind of like the locals that allowed this dog to suffer for so many months to be in the condition it was in. We left very disappointed. I'm glad we live on the mainland where there is more respect for animals. I would never recommend this place for care, especially if you are looking for a staff and expertise that is professional, compassionate, and caring. I will never understand how an animal clinic could be less caring about an animal in need. Check your priorities. What is wrong with you?
